Cookies, similar technologies and tracking choices
Optional tracking is disabled. Future analytics is subject to assessment and effective controls.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and other technologies can store or read information on a device. Their purpose and operation, rather than their name alone, determine information and consent obligations. Server logs are also considered from a data protection perspective.
Current position
Optional tracking is disabled. If we introduce analytics or other technologies that require consent, we will explain their purpose and provide controls before activating them.
There is no operational preferences panel in this version. No acceptance or withdrawal button is presented without a working function.
Rules for introducing tracking
If a technology requiring consent is introduced, it will remain blocked until you choose. Accepting and rejecting will be equally easy and visible, with choices by purpose where applicable. Continuing to browse or remaining silent will not be treated as acceptance.
Rejecting optional tracking will not prevent you from viewing services or using the contact email. Strictly necessary technologies will be identified and justified; a technology will not be classified as necessary for commercial convenience.
Audience measurement and heatmaps
Hosting the website on Contabo does not establish an exemption for potential analytics. Any possible exemption for audience measurement will be assessed against its full configuration before use.
As a project policy, heatmaps will require specific consent before activation. This decision does not enable session recording or capture of messages, passwords, keystrokes or form data. Collection will be limited to what is necessary, and information will be provided about the tool, purpose and retention.
Withdrawal and preference updates
When tracking subject to consent is in place, a permanent way to change or withdraw the choice easily will be provided. Withdrawal will stop the corresponding future collection; it will not depend solely on deleting cookies in the browser.
Before new purposes are activated, this policy will be updated and the appropriate choice requested. Browser settings can complement these controls, but do not replace the obligation to obtain consent where required.
